Here are some common questions I get asked all the time:

  • How can 1-on-1 coaching help me?
    Working with a coach will ensure that you are actually doing workouts that will deliver the results you want, and gives you greater accountability. I take a holistic approach to fitness meaning we look at your nutrition, sleep and wellness. These are all vital parts to your success.
  • How do I know what diet to follow?
    Nutrition is a very important part of your goals; it goes hand in hand with exercise. There are so many different “diets” out there, you may want to know which one is the best? There is NO one-size-fits all plan when it comes to nutrition. Every person has different needs and desires when it comes to when they eat. We can help design a customized eating program that will propel you toward your goals.
  • How often do I connect with a coach?
    With my 1-on-1 coaching programs, I prefer to connect with my clients at least once a week to monitor progress and observe adherence to the program. This way I can adapt our programming as needed to keep my client on track. My group challenges do not include 1-on-1 coaching; however if you are a subscribed member of Momentum Fitness you will receive a discount when you sign up for a coaching call if you need a little more support during your fitness journey.
  • Which program works best for me? Who are these programs for?
    There are many options, select the program that best suits your health and fitness goals. These programs are designed for people who want to improve their fitness, health and nutrition but need some direction. If you are looking for structure, accountability and purpose with your exercise then join one of the challenges today!
  • How long do the challenges take?
    The length of the challenge depends greatly on the challenge you sign up for. I have a variety of challenges with various lengths that can accommodate your lifestyle and your fitness goals. At minimum the challenge will be 2 weeks and at maximum it can last 12 weeks, again depending on which one you join.
  • How long does it take to build muscle?
    With consistent resistance training and a dialed nutrition program you can start seeing noticeable muscle gain within 4-8 weeks.
  • What type of training do I specialize in?
    I specialize in Functional Fitness Training, Athletic Training and Fitness Nutrition. My courses in college and my personal training certificates were primarily focused on functional fitness training. This style of training allows people to improve their strength while being completely applicable to their daily life. I also know many techniques and principles that are used specifically with athletic training. Much of this knowledge came from my lengthy background as a competitive gymnast.
  • What if I don't have a gym membership or a home gym?
    No problem! Your trainer designs your custom workout plan specifically to suit your situation. Your workouts incorporate wherever you prefer to exercise and whatever equipment you have available to you — from being at home with no equipment, to being at a gym fully-stocked with the latest gear, and everywhere in-between. The goal is to create a convenient and realistic training plan that you can stick to.
  • Can I get these results on my own?
    It’s great that online workouts have given so many people access to fitness options, and if you’re consistently doing the right ones, they can be very effective. But no one-size-fits all program can deliver the same results, or consistency and accountability, that a customized program can.
